Welcome to Cockhill Apiary!

We specialize in local wildflower honey from the Guilford/Forsyth County area. Our honey is raw, organic (non-certified) honey. It has not been pasteurized or refined. Our bees are not treated with any chemicals or antibiotics, as are most commercial beekeepers, so the honey you get is as pure and sweet as the bees can make it! We only sell the current year's surplus - all honey is fresh from the bees to the bottle to your table.

Wildflower Honey is made by our bees from a mixture of wildflowers located within an approximate three mile radius of our home. Flower sources in springtime include red maple, tulip poplar, dandelion, violet, thistle and black locust. In the fall, goldenrod and asters provide pollen and nectar. The bess use these flowers to make a dark amber honey- rich and full of flavor. We offer surplus honey for sale in June of each year as it is available. Please visit the menu on the left for more information. Thanks for visiting our site!
